Capstone Experience & Project

The Capstone Experience & Project is the additional requirement for the entry level OTD. It is composed of an experience of 560 hours and a project. The Capstone must demonstrate an in-depth exposure to one or more of the following: clinical practice skills, advocacy or education. The doctoral capstone must be different than the Fieldwork 1 & 2 experience. The Site Mentor does not have to be an occupational therapist and the student leads the collaborative effort to complete their capstone. Upon completion of the capstone the student must disseminate the project.
